March 2018 Scrap Twist Blog Train

Welcome back to another Scrap Twist Blog Train! This month's palette, theme and twist were chosen by Susan from Sue's Beautiful Reflections. The theme, In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb refers to a saying that I wasn't familiar with: "March comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb." As this is about the transition from winter to spring in the northern hemisphere, perhaps it's not surprising that I had never heard of it! (For any new people, I live in Australia!)

I have a bundle for you today - 8 element kits, and 8 paper kits. I hope you enjoy using them!

  1. Thank you, Robyn, for another lovely collection! When September comes, you can start using this phrase! :)
The color palette is beautiful ... I love the elements; especially the butterflies (my mom loves butterflies) & the bonus flowers! The papers are beautiful, too -- the rice paper, the photo papers; gorgeous!!
    Thank you!

  3. "si mars arrive comme un lion, il sort comme un mouton" - merci pour le kit. Il fait aujourd'hui un peu moins froid, mais la dernière nuit à été à - 12 degrés C. On annonce mois froid la semaine prochaine ... mars n'arrive pas comme un lion cette année ! A bientôt. Michèle (Belgique).

  4. Thank you, Michele. I hope you're keeping warm in your chilly temperatures. March is the start of our autumn here in Australia, which gives us a little relief from the blistering hot summer we have just come out of.

  14. wow. what a nice, nice kit. love the colors and what you did with them. so the phrase 'in like a lion out like a lamb or in like a lamb out like a lion' has to do with the idea that if the month starts with bad weather it will usually end with good weather or the reverse if we get a few nice days early in the month be prepared for one last bad storm before the month ends. so it can go either way but it is a fun saying and i always note if the sun is shining or there are gloomy clouds on the first of the month it will probably be the opposite on the last day of the month. nevertheless spring is coming. thanks for the new kit and looking forward to the next set of daily downloads.
