Welcome back to the blog, everyone! Today is the very last day of downloading for my Light Autumn Feelings bundle. I hope that you've enjoyed collecting it, and that it gives you lots of pleasure scrapping with it. Here's today's kit:
Oops! I've just noticed that I don't have the correct element details on this preview! Sorry about that, but the kit itself is correct, it's just the words on the preview that are wrong. It should read:
Welcome back, everyone! We are nearly at the end of the Light Autumn Feelings daily downloads, and today I have the final paper kit in the bundle for you to download. It's the last of the four photo paper kits, too, and I hope you'll enjoy using it:
Today's download is just that - different. You can use these items like ribbons or wraps, but they are neither. Instead, they are rubber bands! Yes, you read that right! They are made with templates from The Scrappin Cop. Although Deb, the lady behind this site, doesn't update any more, as she has now moved onto designing and making jewellery, she has generously left the site up so that scrappers and designers can still access most of her work. Please be aware that some links no longer work - but the site is still well worth a visit.
Hello, everyone! I think I may have mentioned that I collect quotes, and have done for quite a few years now. (Really! I hear you say!) Well, I love quotes, and being able to find just the right words for just the right occasion. Sometimes I want something humourous to lighten the mood, and at other times I'll want something to make me think, or something that applies to my life. Today's kit is a collection of quote cards - I hope you like them:
Hello, and welcome back to the blog! Have you had a chance to visit my other blog yet? You'll find it at Inspire Me : Words To Live By. I have collected quotes for many years, and I'm finally trying to sort them out, and I'm putting them on this blog as images for you to print out, and frame. Of course, it's early days yet, and I only have two printables for you so far, but I intend to do a lot more!
Anyway, back to the reason you're here, Day 24 of my Light Autumn Feelings bundle! Here's today's kit:
Hi, all! Today's download is some paper leaves, to go with the paper flowers from Day 13. I can hardly believe that, including today, there are only 8 kits left for you to download! I have to say that I really appreciate all the lovely comments that you have all been making about this bundle, both here on the blog, and on Dropbox, etc. Thank you all so much! Here is today's kit:
I'm a little curious today -- which file sharing site do you usually download from? When I originally started designing, I chose three file sharing sites - Copy.com, Dropbox, and Google Drive. When Copy shut down their service, I hunted around for another site, and eventually chose Jumpshare. I like Dropbox and Jumpshare because of their simple, clean interface. No annoying ads, no nasty little unwanted files added to your downloads, and no confusion about which button to press!
To be perfectly honest, I find that Google Drive's interface looks a little "clunky" to me when I compare it to Dropbox and Jumpshare, but it's still very easy to navigate, and that's the main thing. All three cost me about the same per month, and I have heaps of storage on each site. I like to give people a choice as to where they go to download, because that's what I like myself. I really loathe it when my only choice is, say, 4Shared, or Mediafire's free service.
Well, that's my little rant for today, so -- on to the download:
What day and time is it where you are? As I write this, it's 12:40 am on Thursday 21 September. I would usually have had this posted by now, but I've been a bit unwell today, and just didn't feel up to going on the computer. (Most unusual for me!!) I'm going to try to get a few days' worth of downloads pre-posted now, though. Today's download is a Felt Leaves kit, which will coordinate with the felt flowers from Day 12.
Remember that this month's twist was to have lace in our kits? Well, today you get to download the first of my two lace kits: a lace elements kit. You'll be able to download a lace papers kit later in the month.
Hi, there! Welcome back for today's kit download, which is the unlined version of Day 15's journal cards. As I write this, Spring is well under way here in Queensland, and my next-door-neighbour's wisteria is in bloom. I like the look of wisteria, but I'm afraid that my nose doesn't appreciate their fragrance! (Cue sneezing and watery eyes!)
Oh, well, we can't have everything, can we! Who needs to be able to breathe, anyway? 😏 Ok, enough of this nonsense! On to the download:
Hello again, and welcome back to the blog for your Light Autumn Feelings daily download. Wherever you are in the world, I hope that your day is going well, and that you make time today to do something that's just for YOU. So many times we look after everyone but ourselves, but don't forget about yourself, you're important, too! On to today's download:
Well, here we are, officially half-way through September, and half-way through the Light Autumn Feelings daily downloads. Are you happy with the kits, and with the types of items included? Let me know if you can think of any improvements I could make with the next bundle I make! Anyway, here's today's kit for you to download:
Another day, another photo paper kit! Any time I want to make photo papers, my first port of call is an amazing site called Pixabay, which is full of stunning images from photographers all over the world. If you want a specific image, you can bet that Pixabay will have a good selection for you to choose from. And, best of all, they are absolutely free for commercial use! Of course, you can donate, and leave comments to let the photographers know how much you appreciate their work!
Something a bit different today - doilies! I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world but, many years ago, everyone used to have doilies on all their furniture here in Australia. You would see the most beautifully crocheted and tatted pieces scattered all over the house. These days, items like this are regarded as being very old-fashioned, and they sometimes come up in charity shops. I've heard of people buying them to display in frames, or to applique onto a garment... we live in the era of recycling!
The doilies in today's download are not nearly as complex as their hand-worked cousins, but they can still add a pretty touch to a scrapbook page:
Welcome to Day 09 of my Light Autumn Feelings Daily Downloads! I hope you haven't found any problems with the kits you've downloaded so far - if you do, please let me know so that I can fix whatever needs fixing. Today's download is a textured paper kit, based on gradient papers:
Welcome back! Today's kit is a set of plastic buttons - do you like the lace bordering the preview? That lace is part of an element kit which you will be able to download later in the month. (Including lots of lace was the twist for this month.)
How's your September going? If, like me, you live in the Southern Hemisphere, you'll be in the early days of Spring, but if you're a "Northener" you'll be entering your Autumn - hence the theme of this month's blog train (and my bundle)! Here's today's kit:
Hello, and welcome back for Day 6 of this month's "Light Autumn Feelings" daily download! I hope that you like the kits so far, and that you are enjoying having another month of daily downloads, even though it's quite soon after July's "Asian Serenity"! Here's today's kit:
I'm so sorry about Day 01 of the Scrap Twist Blog Train having no links! I can't explain why, but for some unknown reason, I didn't add the links! I must have had a brain freeze, or something. Well, that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!
Anyway, the links have now been added, so you can go back to Day 01's post to download the kits. Just click on thisLINKto get you there quickly.
Once again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience!
Another month, another Scrap Twist Blog Train! And, another month of daily downloads! This month's theme and palette were chosen by Olga from Lady DG Scrap, and her twist was to include lots of lace. I will have both a lace element kit, and a lace paper kit for you later in the month.
Here is the palette Olga chose for us (I just love that rusty old barn!):
I have 5 kits for you to download today, then one a day for the rest of the month - a total of 34 kits, made up of 1 alpha kit, 21 element kits and 12 paper kits. Now for today's kits:
This month's blog freebie is a set of quick pages, created by Sherry from Nellie Bell's Unique Boutique. Sherry used items from my bundle to create the pages - and hasn't she done a wonderful job? I was trying to make some quick pages myself, but they just weren't working out the way I wanted them to - and that's when Sherry stepped in!
